I wonder if Oscar/Oz is gonna fill the void in JNR left by Pyrrha's death.

Am I the only one hoping Menagerie turns out to be important in the long run? Like, it's been stablished as a sh*tty geographical location, mostly covered by inhabitable terrain and cut off the Www...

But we have had no mention of grimms in Menagerie per se, the closest we have seen was sea grimm en route to there. Maybe it's just Salem doesn't bother cuz there is no relic hidden there...

But I think it would be funny if it turns out the faunus hit the jackpot with that island.

And before anyone thinks there will be no point because if that does happen, Salem wins, she only wins if she gets all four relics and uses them for her desire. If she can't unlock the vault, she doesn't win. So if she doesn't get all four maidens, she doesn't win.

On a related note, with the fact that the relics are locked away behind vaults and they can only be opened by Maiden powers, how the hell is Beacon's Relic missing? I mean, Salem said: "Reinforce our numbers at Beacon. TheRelicisthere."

So if the Relic is locked behind a Vault, and only the Fall Maiden's Power can unlock Beacon's Relic, how the hell did Ozpin hide it? Did he hide the Vault itself? Did he somehow get the vault open (Like the Fall Maiden before Amber opening it) and hid the relic? Or is the vault empty?

I tried, didn't go too well so I gave up.

but I did get an unusual Volume 5 intro reaction, it was choppy but it was still good, but if you really want some reaction from a Theatre during the release, visit it on YouTube and look up "RWBY Volume 5 Intro" you'll hear the roaring Cheers from the audience.

One thing people keep saying is Jaune won't get much screen time or he will fall in the back round this volume just because he didn't "appear" in the opening much. Well let me just say that 1. People that are saying that is complete and utter bull crap (the words not you guys), 2. An opening doesn't justify what will happen or a characters role in the volume, I mean if that where the case why didn't we get Weiss vs Emerald in V2 or should we assume that Nora and Ren vs Hazel will happen because it happened in the intro and don't get your hopes up on the Yang vs Mercury rematch (as much as I want it to happen) and speaking of Emerald she didn't even appear in the V5 intro so should we just assume she isn't gonna appear at all?. Well you get my point. (Sorry if I went off on a rant I just really needed to get that all out because these assumptions just kinda ticked me off, and before anyone says it I'll say it for y'all "shut up!, you talk to much!, yeah yeah whatever!. And again I'm sorry that I've talked to much on this rant of mine.)

KingFubuki92 wrote:
1st, they are trying to discredit the WF in Menagerie, this way the WF won't be able to get more recruits/hide there after the Attack on Haven. By discrediting them, the Faunus in Menagerie won't be as tempted to enlist unless they are that pissed off at humans, and they could attempt a raid on the base in Menagerie. By raiding the base, unless the Albains can warn Adam in a quick enough manner, they will have access to WF contacts, future plans, weaponry, member identities, and presumably, could pinpoint their location in Mistral.

2nd, even with time being of the essence, they still face a large problem in regards to the WF base in Mistral. We have no idea as to whether Blake ever went there or not, and even if she did, they may have relocated. They have no idea where it is unless Ilia's scroll had a convenient address, which would be a dumb move as you never leave the location of your evil base on your evil phone in case someone steals it or you drop it, so trying to find it would be a wild goose chase. Then there is the travel time. Menagerie is below the south coast of Anima, whereas Mistral is more towards the Northern side of the middle. RNJR took several months (estimate since the timeline is wonky) on foot, but they traveled from Patch. Yang took several weeks (estimate) by Bumblebee to get NEAR Mistral, and Bumblebee has shown to go fairly fast when Yang revs it, and she also went from Patch. Weiss tooks at least two weeks (1 for the week before Ironwood closed the borders, at least 1 more as Lionheart knows about the border closing despite CCT being down, implying it's known from someone trying to go to Atlas and being denied, or from a letter sent.) by Airship from Atlas, and she still is not there. It would take the Belladonna's and Sun at minimum several weeks to get from Kuo Kahana to Mistral, as they don't seem to have access to aerial transport, they'd have to take the boat, then trek across Anima. They would get there faster than RNJR as they are closer to Mistral than RNJR is, but would only be around Yang's time as they are still going on foot.

3rd, It's not like they can warn Haven Academy. As we've seen, The Albain's have used Ilia as a scapegoat, and could easily deny anything on the Scroll connecting them to her. And if the Belladonna's only piece of evidence is a Scroll with possibly false information, it becomes a case of he said she said. And whereas matters of Terrorism would normally atleast be looked into, with Lionheart under Watts' control, it would go no where.

In the end, it's better they focus on Menagerie as they stop the WF from having a guarenteed hide away, limit the number of potential recruits, obtain potential plans, and can potentially amass a force of their own under the pretense of stopping the White Fang from damaging the reputation of Faunus any further.

The fact it might take a while to get there is even more reason to move quickly. Unless we presume Adam isn't in Mistral, he could launch an attack at any time. What's the point of letting them know about the coup and attack on Haven if they aren't going to move to stop it? Obviously, they don't know telling Lionheart would be futile. My only thought is that maybe they don't intend to stick around there too long, though it sort of makes Illia's "leave before it's too late" remark a bit anti-climactic if they do intend to leave soon.
