Nic's barber Shop is a hardy organization that has quality haircuts for all ages. I've been going there myself for over a decade. They have lost some customers after their one employee left but the remaining two still give one heck of a cut. Yes the shop does seem somber when you walk in, but once you sit down and receive your hair cut you realize the shop has some nostalgia to it with pictures of when the shop first opened and of the original owner. So your there sitting back watching some lingo, deal or no deal, or whatever the game station is showing at that particular time, getting to know who your barber is and in a blink of an eye your done, with a satisfied feeling and a great head of hair.

I have received haircuts from both the middle-aged woman and the older woman that work here. i have no complaints whatsoever. if you think you're going to a "salon" you might be dissapointed, but if you just need a haircut you can't beat this place.

One of the worst haircuts I've ever received. There are generally two people working there. One is a middle-aged woman who usually does a great job. I've had her twice and left satisfied. Unfortunately, this woman wasn't there when I stopped by today. As I needed a haircut, I decided to try the other woman. She is an older woman who shouldn't be allowed to barber. Despite being given pretty clear directions (including a picture of my hair done the way I like from my previous barber), I was given something that could have been accomplished with a pair of clippers and a set of safety scissors myself. She was more interested in "Deal or No Deal" on TV than my hair cut (taking multiple pauses to watch the show). Her method of cutting hair seems to be as followed. 1. Nod when the customer explains what he wants. 2. Take clippers and put them at significantly lower setting. 3. Buzz a line around the crown. 4. Lop hair off the top. 5. SmileI feel extremely dissatisfied with my haircut today and I'll likely have to buzz everything off. The haircut looks extremely unprofessional, to the point that multiple people asked me if I did it myself. If you get the middle-aged woman, I'd say it's worth it. However, if the older woman is working you need to immediately turn around and walk out the door.
