Upon opening the game for the first time, you will be greeted with a Terms of Use window, stating that BetaDwarf will automatically link your Xbox Live account with a BetaDwarf account. Press "Continue." This requires no additional steps. Once the game loads, it will throw you into your first NPC match. The next 3 matches act as the tutorial, so pay attention. If you don't pay attention, you can view the controls and read a rundown of how to play the game on the General Hints & Tips page. NOTE: You cannot unlock the "Close One" achievement during the introductory battles. They must be unlocked online.
Complete the matches and claim your rewards. You are now able to build decks and play online solo battles. To get your first achievement, click on the bar along the top of the screen to complete your first deck. It looks something like this:

Add a card to complete your deck. Now look to the right-hand side of your screen. You should see 6 deck slots. Click on the first empty one and fill it with 10 cards. Now click on the next empty one and fill it with 10 cards. This will unlock
- Deck Maker
Create 3 decks.

As you progress in the game, you'll unlock more cards and familiarize yourself with what cards work best for you. I'd recommend re-structuring your decks with newer cards often.
You can't do much else yet, so go ahead and start your first online solo battle. Once the battle is finished, you should now be able to play team battles. Once you've won 3 matches of solo or team battles, you'll unlock:
- Ranked Winner
Win 3 Ranked Battles.

By now you should have reached level 8, which means that you've unlocked Daily Challenges. Things you should know about daily challenges:
- You can have up to 3 daily challenges active at a time.
- New daily challenges arrive every 24 hours at 8 p.m. EST. Sometimes 1 new one will appear, sometimes 2, sometimes 3.
- Daily challenges must be completed in online matches.
- You can "recycle" one daily challenge per day by pressing the blue ↺ button.
Once you complete and claim the rewards for 3, 10, 25, 50, and 100 daily challenges, you'll unlock:
- Daily Conqueror
Complete 10 Daily Quests.
1 guide
- Daily Annihilator
Complete 25 Daily Quests.
1 guide
- Daily Obliterator
Complete 50 Daily Quests.
- Daily Master
Complete 100 Daily Quests.
You will have also unlocked resource tokens at level 6. Resource tokens are the "free tokens" that the game offers every day. The daily resource token can be reclaimed each day at 8 p.m. EST. Make sure you redeem these as often as possible. Once you spin 20, 50, and 100 resource tokens, you'll unlock the following:
- Resource Gatherer
Use 1000 Gold.

- Resource Manager
Use 10000 Gold.

- Resource Master

The other tokens to look out for are Power Tokens, let's take a look at the achievements involving those. Tips regarding power tokens:
- Power tokens can be purchased for 1,000 gold each, 160 rubies for 2, or 725 rubies for 10.
- You get a free power token for joining the Minion Masters Discord using the in-game link (go to the Power Tower shop).
- Power tokens are sometimes sold in the in-game shop for a discounted price. The shop has new offers every 24 hours, resetting at 12 p.m. EST.
- Power tokens can sometimes be obtained through in-game codes. Check the Codes Thread forum on TrueAchievements to see active codes.
- Un-spun season tokens turn to power tokens at the end of each battle pass season. So if you've gained all the rewards you desire from season tokens, let them turn into power tokens.
You rack up gold quickly, and unless you want to purchase skins, emotes, cards or arenas in the shop, power tokens are the best things to spend your gold on. Once you spin 25, 100, and 250 power tokens, you'll unlock:
- Power Gatherer
Use 25 Power Tokens.
1 guide
- Power Manager
Use 100 Power Tokens.
- Power Master
Use 250 Power Tokens.

Now play more battles to level up, unlock cards, rack up wins and complete daily challenges. The more games you win consecutively, the faster you rank up. After winning 4-7 more games, depending on how you perform, you'll reach Stone league and unlock:
- The Stone League
Reach the Stone League.
NOTE: Solo and team battles rank up separately from one another.
If you've followed the guide thus far, that should have been the fifth achievement you've unlocked. From the hub, go to your profile and click on "Achievements" in the top right-hand corner.
Now hover over each unlocked achievement and press to claim them. Once you've claimed 5, you'll unlock:
- Supreme!
Claim 5 Achievements

Continue playing the game as normal. Once you win 10 matches, you'll unlock Win 10 Ranked Battles. 1 guide
Continue playing. Use this time to try out some other masters and familiarize yourself with their abilities. While playing other masters, you'll be progressing toward the "Know It All" achievement. You can unlock this achievement without spending any shards or rubies if you wait for the masters to be included in the weekly free rotation. Alternatively, if you'd like to unlock this sooner, you can permanently unlock a master by purchasing it in-game with shards or rubies. Each master costs a different price. Once you win matches with 8 of the masters, you'll unlock:
- Know it all
Win a Ranked battle with 8 different Masters.

These next few achievements can be unlocked at any time and will require you to have a fair amount of shards. But don't worry, you'll quickly earn shards just through natural progression. Back at the main hub, go to "Deck Building" and click on "Crafting." Find a common card, they're the ones with a green triangle in the bottom right of the card. They cost anywhere between 50 - 150 shards craft. Find one, preferably one you'd use, press on it, then click on the green button. This will unlock
- Common Crafter
Craft a Common card.

Now find a rare card (blue). They'll cost anywhere from 125 - 375 shards. Craft one to unlock:
- Rare Crafter
Craft a Rare card.

Now find a Supreme card (purple). They'll cost between 500 - 1,500 shards. Craft one to unlock:
- Supreme Crafter
Craft a Supreme card.

Finally, find a Legendary card (gold). They'll cost between 2,000 - 6,000 shards. Craft one to unlock:
- Legendary Crafter
Craft a Legendary Card.

As time goes on, you'll unlock more cards through rewards, tokens, or card crafting. Tips for unlocking cards:
- Cards can be won from power and season tokens.
- Cards can be crafted using shards. Shards and rubies are often free in the shop.
- Cards can be purchased with gold in the shop.
- Cards are sometimes free in the shop.
- Some cards can be obtained by redeeming in-game codes. Check the Codes Thread forum here on TrueAchievements for active codes.
- Guild Conquest Cards do not count as being in your collection.
Once you have 25, 50, and 100 different cards in your collection, you'll unlock:
Acquire a collection of 25 cards.
- Novice Collection
Acquire a collection of 50 cards.
- Master Collection
Acquire a collection of 100 cards.
This next achievement can be unlocked at any point, so long as you have enough spell cards in your collection. It requires you to use 5 spell cards in a row and win the match. This can be boosted in a pre-made battle, but it's easy enough to get it legitimately. I'd recommend doing this at a low rank in a low league. I'd also recommend playing in team battles, possibly with someone you know. If you know your teammate, have them use mostly minion or building cards, while you use mostly spells. Furthermore, I recommend using Milloween or Volco as your master, as they both get a free spell card (Arcane Missiles or Burn The Bridge) as their tier 2 ability. You can pick and choose a deck that works best for you, but here's what I found to be most effective:
- Squire Puff (2)
- Daggerfall (3)
- Xiao Long (3)
- Assassin (4)
- Blind Date (4)
- Fire Imp (4)
- Fireball (4)
- Stun Lancers (4)
- Incubus (5)
- Infiltration (5)
If you're unable to get any of these 5 spell cards in a row, wait until you reach perk 2 and unlock Milloween's Arcane Missiles or Volco's Burn The Bridge spell card. You now have 6 cards to pull from. Use 5 cards in a row, then if you win the game you'll unlock
- Spell Slinger
Play 5 spells in a row during an online Match and then win.

When going for the "reach _____ league" achievements, be sure to get as far as you can before the ranks reset. The ranks reset at the end of every month. Here are some tips to help you rank up quicker:
- Consecutive wins: The more games you win consecutively, the faster you rank up. So try to get a good teammate in pre-made battles if you're able to. This will help you rank up and unlock rewards faster.
- Decks optimization: Find a deck that works best for you. Experiment with new cards at a lower rank to prevent de-ranking.
- Do not quit: Quitting counts as a loss. Not only will quitting end your win streak, but it will also temporarily prohibit you from playing online matches.
- Stick with one game type: Ranking is different for each game type. If you're gold rank in solo battles, you could be stone in team battles. Each partner you play within pre-made is different too. So if you're playing pre-made battles, play with the same teammate each time.
The leagues go: Wood > Stone > Bronze > Silver > Gold > Platinum > Diamond > Master > Grandmaster > Contender
Once you reach bronze league you'll unlock:
- The Bronze League
Reach the Bronze League.
Once you reach silver league you'll unlock:
- The Silver League
Reach the Silver League.

There are no achievements for reaching gold league or beyond.
Before grinding for your "win _____ matches" achievements, I'd recommend tackling the achievements requiring other players or offline play.
Find 3 friends (on your friend's list) and invite them to pre-made battles, one-by-one. To set up a pre-made battle, from the hub click on "Battle," then click on "Create Lobby." If you can't find 3 friends to play with, try setting up a gaming session here on TrueAchievements. Once you've played 3 matches with friends you'll unlock:
- Friend Challenger
Play a friendly challenge with 3 different friends.
1 guide
While you've got a friend handy, this is a good time to boost the "Close One" achievement. If you don't boost for it or if you can't find someone available or willing to help you do not worry. It's unlikely that this will be the last achievement you'll need for this game, so you'll eventually unlock it naturally. But if you can find the help, take it. Let your opponent attack your tower until you have less than 100 health remaining. Now destroy their tower. Once you win the game with less than 100 health you'll unlock:
- Close one
Win a Ranked Battle with less than 100 Health left.
1 guide
Now for the only offline achievements. These should only take about half an hour. From the hub, click on the "Challenges" game mode in the bottom center of your screen. In these challenges, you're tasked with defeating the NPCs before they destroy your tower. It's the same thing as a solo battle, but you're playing against a computer instead of an actual live player. Depending on who you're facing, you may need to optimize your deck between each challenge. No worries though, if you lose a match, you're not penalized. Once you complete 5 matches, you'll unlock:
- Challenge accepted!
Complete 1 Practice Match on Medium.
1 guide
Once you've completed 10, you'll unlock:
- Challenge completed!
Complete 1 Practice Match on Hard.

Remember that once you unlock an achievement, you can claim rewards from them. Once you unlock and claim rewards for 15 achievements, you'll unlock:

Once you unlock and claim rewards for 30 achievements, you'll unlock:
- Legendary Royale!
Complete 30 Achievements.

The next set of achievements are rewarded for winning X amount of matches. You've already unlocked the achievement for winning 10 at this point. Tips for winning matches quickly:
- As previously stated, experiment to find out which masters and decks work best for you. Don't be scared to switch things up a bit.
- The game does a good job of pinning you up against players in the same rank/league as you. So if you find yourself losing often at a high rank, switch to a game type you wouldn't generally play. Remember, each game type has its own ranking.
- Ranks are reset every month, so if you're losing often, come back next month for an easy start.
- Find a second player to play pre-made battles with. Communication goes a long way in strategy games, so don't be shy to use and throw down some pings if your teammate doesn't have a mic.
- Keep control of the bridges for as long as you can. The longer you have control of the bridges, the quicker you level up your abilities in a match. Once your XP bar is maxed out, your team gets mana frenzy, which is almost (not always) a guaranteed win.
- You can check your progress from your profile at the hub. The "Total Wins" number is not accurate, as it counts every win. To accurately track this, go to the "achievements" tab and find the achievement titled "Ranked Master." This will show how many (full) matches you've won, up to 500.
Once you win 25, 100, and 500 online matches, you'll unlock:
- Ranked Annihilator
Win 50 Ranked Battles.

- Ranked Obliterator
Win 100 Ranked Battles.

- Ranked Master
Win 500 Ranked Battles.

This next achievement is out of your control because it requires your opponent to play as certain masters. But you should have it unlocked by the time you win 25 matches. Once you've won matches against 8 different masters, you'll unlock:
- Defeat them all
Win against 8 different Masters.

Congratulations! You've unlocked all the achievements in Minion Masters!
